How Can I Find Opportunities To Volunteer?

We’re so grateful for those who are able to give of their time to help make Calvin Christian School a better school. At Calvin, we require a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer service per family. Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent or work full-time, there are many opportunities to volunteer. Volunteer opportunities are published in the weekly Monday Bulletin and are sent out in a variety of school email communications.

The Athletic Booster Club

The Athletic Booster Club raises funds for the junior high and high school athletic programs. The annual Crusader Golf Classic, that occurs each fall, is a fun opportunity to support the athletic programs at Calvin. Click HERE to learn more about this event.

Music Boosters

The Music Boosters raise funds to provide instruments and instrument repairs, as well as support for the choir programs. Keep your eye out for meeting dates via the Monday Bulletin and school emails.

Calvin Christian School Service Group

The Calvin Christian School Service Group (aka, CCSSG and formerly known as the Mothers’ Club). This group helps raise funds for general school needs such as the school kitchen remodel, preschool playground upgrade, and tuition assistance. One of the most well-known events sponsored by the CCSSG is the Dutch Festival, a huge family friendly event that is held every other spring.

Heritage Center Friends

Heritage Center Friends (H.C.F.) is Calvin’s newest parent organization. With our beautiful new Performing Arts and Chapel space opening just two years ago (available to all our students, youngest to oldest), it became clear we needed a new parent leadership team. The goal is that the H.C.F would be to the Heritage Center (& other physical arts spaces), as the A.B.C. is to our sports facilities. In God’s timing, the H.C.F. will sponsor special events (e.g. Broadway Revues, Father-Daughter Balls, etc) which will help raise funding (outside of tuition) that will allow us to continue to care for and develop the Heritage Center, and create new opportunities for students.
