Eligibility Requirements for CCS Society Membership for Calvin Parents

In order to become a member of Society, you must be able to affirm the following:

  1. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God.
  2. My beliefs are consistent with the Apostles’ Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the Nicene Creed.
  3. I attend a church which by belief and practice is consistent with the Apostles’ Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the Nicene Creed.
  4. I agree with Article II of Calvin Christian School’s Constitution: “The Society and all instruction given in its school(s) is based on the infallible Word of God as expressed in the standards of the Reformed faith.” 

**Note: “the standards of the Reformed faith” are the summaries of biblical teaching used in Reformed and Presbyterian churches to promote unity and understanding. They are the Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort, Belgic Confession, Westminster Confession, and Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms. You do not need to be in full agreement with these standards of the Reformed faith to agree with Calvin’s use of them as helpful summaries of biblical truth to guide all instruction at Calvin.
