UPPER SCHOOL TEACHER – HISTORY/HUMANITIES
We are looking for a creative, talented, and experienced teacher who knows his/her call by their Lord & Savior Jesus Christ to serve as a full-time Christian educator, with a passion for teaching students. The successful candidate for this position is committed to robust, whole-person, liberal arts education. The ideal candidate for this position will desire to contribute professionally with his/her colleagues, especially in the humanities department across the junior high and high school program.

- Per Calvin’s mission (and constitution), teachers are expected to be members in good standing at a confessionally reformed church ( e.g. URC, CRC, PCA, RCA, OPC) and in-line with Calvin Christian School’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith and school biblical ethics policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in history (or at a minimum the equivalent of a minor) and a teaching credential (or equivalent)
- Experience teaching History/Humanities to young people, ideally in a classroom setting
- Computer proficiency skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Desire to live and work in North San Diego County
