MUSICAL THEATER CHOREOGRAPHER
We are looking for an attentive, caring, fun, and energetic person to join our team who knows his/her call by their Lord & Savior Jesus Christ to offer creative, artistic leadership to Calvin’s after-school co-curricular music theatre program, in particular through choreography.
As a Christian school, employees are required to be professing believers and followers (true disciples) of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, expressing a testimony known by others of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Per Calvin’s mission and constitution, staff are expected to be:
- Faithfully involved via in-person attendance and service at a reputable Christian church consistent with Calvin Christian School’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith and the school’s biblical ethics policies. (Per CCS Constitution, Calvin prefers staff to be members in good standing at a confessionally reformed church, e.g. URC, CRC, PCA, OPC)
Other Qualifications:
- College degree and/or equivalent study and training in musical theater
- Significant experience working with children across a wide age range
- Experience artistically choreographing a musical from beginning to end.
